LEED for Contractors
Construction Executive, January 2011, reports that Contractors Play a Big Role in LEED Certification. LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design of the US Green Building Council. Contractors directly manage and are responsible for construction waste management, recycled content, and use of regional materials important for a LEED certified building.
